Environmental Policy Director and former State Senator Fran Pavley participated in the University of Southern California’s annual Climate Forward Conference. Senator Pavley joined Pulse Fund Founding and Managing Partner Tenzin Seldon and Lawyer and Environmentalist Joanne Witty on a panel titled Climate on the Ballot: 2024 and moderated by POLITICO California Policy Editor Debra Kahn. The panel discussed the importance of climate topics in this year’s election, lessons learned from the Biden Administration’s climate action, and how to continue building on current climate policies.
The annual Climate Forward Conference is hosted by the USC Dornsife Wrigley Institute for Environment and Sustainability and USC Dornsife Center for the Political Future and explores politically realistic solutions to the challenges associated with a changing climate.
